Gen 3 IV Hydration and Wellness is an IV Infusion and Wellness Clinic where nurses and practitioners deliver specialized, truly exceptional care. Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements 

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. 
  • Current active and unrestricted Missouri licensed practical nurse license 
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience working as a LPN in an area that requires training and hands-on experience in infusion therapies, OR 
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience as a LPN working in an area noted above, with IV start, maintenance, and infusion experience. 
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support for Health Care Professionals.

We provide Direct Primary Care, and our exceptional Nurse Practitioner is quickly filling her schedule. As a result, we need an LPN to be her right-hand support. We are seeking an individual with a go-getter personality, confident in their skills as an LPN. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate effectively with patients, learn quickly, and work efficiently. Teamwork is essential, so the ability to work steadily and cohesively with others is a must. While we prefer someone with experience in primary care, a clinic setting, or working closely with a doctor or practitioner, we are open to candidates who possess the right qualities and can learn quickly.


Responsibilities

In a Direct Primary Care (DPC) clinic, the role of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is essential in providing patient-centered care that emphasizes preventive health and personalized medical services. The LPN in this setting supports the healthcare team by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operation and high-quality care. Duties include: 

  • Monitor patient health by checking vital signs like blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate. 
  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed by providers. 
  • Provide wound care, including cleaning and dressing wounds. 
  • Assist with the preparation and administration of intravenous (IV) medications. 
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support. 
  • Report any changes in patient condition to RNs and providers. 
  • Document patient care accurately in medical records 
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. 
  • Participate in shift handovers, ensuring continuity of care. 
  • Adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocols. 
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. 
  • Keep up-to-date with continuing education requirements and best practices in nursing. 
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. 
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment. 


The LPN may also be working as an infusion nurse at times during their role. The Infusion Nurse is a licensed clinician who coordinates and provides direct infusion care in the clinic or mobile setting, ensuring patient safety while providing continuity of care in compliance with the practitioner’s plan of care. The infusion and wellness center nurse will also provide injections, complete lab draws/testing, provide laser services, provide vitamin education and recommendations, give skin care recommendations, provide food and nutrition counseling, and take a holistic approach to nursing. The infusion nurse will take an active role in learning all services to be offered. This list above indicates most services offered but is not all inclusive. 


Full-Time Schedule Requirements:

  • Attend all scheduled staff meetings 
  • Work schedule- Tuesday-Friday 0745-1745 
  • Training new staff members 
  • 4 weeks (28 day) notice will be given if terminating employment
