Position: IT Budget Analyst

Pay Rate: $20-30/hour

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Location: Temple, Georgia 30179


JOB STATEMENT:

With supervision, support the management and monitoring of operating budgets, monthly expense projections, and maintain communication and coordination with departments.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Serve as a resource to the internal IT departments on budgeting matters.

• Assist with invoicing process, including invoice creation and follow-up communications with departments and customers.

• Organize records for department commitments including consistent structure and naming convention. Standardize and document SOPs for common processes and improvement recommendations.

• Analysis and maintenance of IT budget, including adjustments of budget system to reconcile errors and standard and ad hoc financial report creation.

• Regular budget audits to identify anomalous/unbalanced transactions; provides summary reporting to Director.

• Prepare and distribute invoices as defined by company policy, meeting billing due dates – including deposit(s), change orders and final invoices.

• Conduct ad hoc requests as needed and general support of Finance and Planning day-to-day activities including data needs, reports, access, etc.

• Accountable for all applicable IT Budget related processes and methodologies and their proper and consistent execution.

• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience is preferred.

• 2+ years of working experience in budget tracking or similar field.

• Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

• Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
