Caregiver/CNA PRN Day-Overnight Facility

AW Health Care invites you to apply for our PRN part-time Caregiver/CNA day and overnight positions for our partner independent living community, Villa at Riverwood, Florissant, MO and Gambrill Gardens, Ellisville, MO. Facility Day Shift: PRN, 8:00AM - 8:30PM (12 hour shift)
Facility Overnight Shift: PRN,11:00PM - 7:00AM ( 8 hour shift)
Must be available 3-4 days a week and 2 weekends a month (Every other weekend)
Caregiver/CNA Job Duties:
- Assist the client with personal hygiene such is bathing, care of skin, mouth and hair. Instruct client's and family in meeting client’s personal hygiene needs
- Provide physical assistance in client transfer, positioning and ambulation as outlined in the client care plan.
- Assist client with prescribed non-skilled exercises which the client, family, and caregiver have been taught by appropriate professional personnel.
- Change client bed linen as needed.
- Clear client path of clutter or client’s room to provide for maximum patient safety.
- Prepare a light meal if visit during mealtime and time permits.
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining supplies and equipment in proper condition.
- Assist the client's with ordinarily self-administered medications (open bottles, get water).
- Apply non-prescription topical ointments/lotions to unbroken skin at the client’s direction.
Work Environment:
Caregivers work in client homes/apartments that are located on the independent living community grounds.
