Registered Nurse

The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for delivering patient care while adhering to compliance standards. They should demonstrate the ability to identify patient needs and effectively prioritize them alongside the directives provided by physicians. Working under the guidance of the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Unit Director, the candidate will execute nursing patient care responsibilities for the designated unit or department. Their duties will encompass planning, delivering, and assessing comprehensive nursing care in alignment with the established patient care ethos. They will facilitate personalized, goal-oriented nursing care by employing the nursing process and adhering to the principles of primary nursing, consistent with departmental and hospital protocols. Furthermore, they will establish effective communication with other shifts to ensure continuity of care, maintain positive relations with other departments and nursing units, and engage in all facets of educational endeavors.
The position is not a travel assignment- relocation assistance is not a part of this job opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
- Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
- Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing X Required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing X Preferred
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Handle with Care Certification or CPI within 90 days of hire preferred
- ACLS-preferred
Licenses
Valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN) or multi-state/compact RN license.
Minimum Work Experience
1.5 Years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a direct bedside patient care setting. Experience in a behavioral health facility.
