Dance TeacherConnelly School of the Holy Child seeks a qualified Dance Teacher for January through May to teach multiple levels of dance (Grades 6-12), maintain program continuity, and support student development. We are committed to providing an educational environment that encourages academic rigor, creativity, and the growth of students in all aspects of their lives.The part-time Dance Teacher at Connelly School of the Holy Child will be responsible for educating and inspiring students (Grades 6-12) in various dance techniques and styles. This role includes choreographing dances for school performances and fostering an engaging atmosphere in the dance program.Key Responsibilities:Instruction:Teach diverse dance styles to foundations through advanced levelsImplement and adapt existing curriculum to meet student needsDifferentiate instruction for diverse learning abilitiesChoreography & Performance:Choreograph and rehearse students for the annual Dance Concert, assemblies, and special school eventsProvide creative leadership in choreography and production designStudent Development:Inspire students to achieve personal dance goalsMonitor progress and provide constructive feedbackFoster intellectual, physical, social, and emotional developmentCommunication & Collaboration:Coordinate with Director of Visual and Performing Arts and performing arts departmentMaintain professional communication with students, parents, and administratorsCollaborate on musical productions and school performancesSchool Community:Support Holy Child's mission and valuesFoster a culturally responsive, inclusive classroom environmentFollow all school policies and safety protocols
