Procurement Analyst

We are looking for a Procurement Analyst, skilled with SQL, Access and Excel to work for a global company in Orange County, CA. The role is onsite in Costa Mesa. $38.50/hr

The Procurement Analyst will oversee new supplier registration and managing setups. They'll also handle monthly queries, spreadsheet management for projects, vendor assessments, and surveys. Additional tasks involve maintaining the Procurement mailbox, responding to emails, filing, running Access queries, data maintenance, evaluating purchase pricing and market trends, and conducting market research for potential cost savings on raw materials and components.

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT:

Facilitate new supplier enrollment both (domestic & overseas) and process any Supplier updates. Manage all new supplier onboarding documentation for Procurement and Finance departments. Process and administer NDA's, Redline outlines, Supplier Purchase Agreements (SPA's), banking information and other related onboarding paperwork.

PROCURMENT DATA MAINTENANCE:

• Maintain cost savings data spreadsheet and run month end report.
• Create and maintain Monthly On-time Supplier performance report.
• Create PO summary by Supplier/Source/Commodity.
• Run profitability report by Supplier/commodity.
• Create raw materials database to define market trend pricing and supplier unit costs for common materials and run on quarterly basis.
• Create and maintain tooling database.
• Supporting the team with queries, email follow up, Supplier assessments and surveys, issuing documents, retrieving pertinent data from other departments.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business or Data Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years of Experience working with databases, data manipulation, and report generation using tools in Access, SQL and Excel.
• 2-4 years of procurement experience.
• Familiarity with data analysis techniques, data modeling, and data visualization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in handling data
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, data analysis tools, and macros are required.
