Read on to learn more about an exciting opportunity to join our team.Summer Interns in the Disputes, Claims, and Investigations group work primarily as financial consultants on engagements within a litigation setting. Common engagements include: forensic accounting, fraud investigations, shareholder disputes, intellectual property disputes, employment disputes, quantification of commercial damages, and quantifying complex insurance claims.At Stout, you are engaged in real work right away.What You'll Do:Assist in the creation of financial models to solve complex challengesAnalyze financial statements to uncover critical insightsReview and organize key documents for litigation supportPerform data entry with precision and accuracyConduct in-depth industry and company research to inform decision makingPerform quality control checks to ensure the integrity of deliverablesSupport Analysts and Associates in various ad-hoc tasks and projectsQualifications/Requirements:Pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance preferred; Economics or related discipline will also be consideredStrong academic record of at least a 3.2 GPA (required)Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Relevant internship experience and/or extracurricular related experiences (preferred)Strong analytical, verbal, technical, and written skillsSuperior communication and interpersonal skillsAuthorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship now and in the futureHow You'll Thrive:Embrace high levels of responsibility and take initiative to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.Collaborate effectively with team members and clients while building strong relationships.Demonstrate analytical rigor and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.Exhibit a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset, contributing to both personal and organizational growth.Leverage structured training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to develop professionally and achieve your career goals.At Stout, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards program with competitive compensation, benefits, and wellness options tailored to support employees at every stage of life.
