Job Description:

The Billing Clerk will be responsible for managing the invoicing process, ensuring accurate and timely billing of clients, and maintaining financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with other departments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Review and verify billing data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue invoices.
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve client billing issues.
  • Maintain and update billing records and client information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient billing processes.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to billing and accounts receivable.
  • Generate billing reports and assist with financial analysis as needed.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Billing Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of billing procedures and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with billing software is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Compensation:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
