We are a Fresno County Provider of Specialty Mental Health Services (SMHS) for youth and nonminor dependents living in our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) facilities. Our mission is "to unlock the potential in those we serve regardless of their circumstances; to become responsible, caring, and successful members of their families and communities."
We seek a full-time and several part-time licensed clinicians to supervise and oversee the MHP staff and clinical operations for our STRTP facilities. - Using the Fresno County electronic medical records system, SmartCare, review and co-sign the unlicensed, waivered, or registered MHP staff's progress notes within 72 hours.
- Ensure all required STRTP clinical documentation, including Medi-Cal billing information, is accurate and completed within the required timeframes.
- Provide MHP staff, individual and group supervision, and maintain supervision logs and notes as required.
- Ensure internal audits or peer reviews are completed on selected client records and that the assigned clinician reviews discharged clients' records before archiving.
- Participate as a backup in the "on-call" duty schedule by providing crisis intervention support to clients and MHP staff, as needed.
- Attend virtual and face-to-face meetings to collaborate with other Quality Program Directors, STRTP Facility Administrators, clients' parents/guardians, county personnel, etc., to ensure each client's treatment program meets their short-term SMHS needs.
- Identify and facilitate training to address the MHP staff's professional development needs and implement protocols to encourage retention and well-being.
- Provide guidance to the Quality Assurance Director on the types of MHP performance measures and outcomes and assist with the analysis of data for the quarterly and annual reports.
