BID COORDINATOR – RESIDENTIAL HOMEBUILDER

Position:   Bid Coordinator

Industry:   Residential Homebuilder

Location:  Chandler, AZ

Company: Nexstar Homes


RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Coordinate the solicitation of bids from subcontractors and vendors

·       Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for bids

·       Send out plans with detailed take offs and solicit bids from subcontractors and vendors

·       After Bids are received review bid documents and ensure compliance with requirements

·       Maintain accurate records of bid submissions and outcomes through Excel Spreadsheets

·       Build relationships with subcontractors and vendors

·       Maintain a database of subcontracts and vendors for each phase of construction

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

·       Proficiency in reading and understanding construction plans

·       Strong understanding of the residential construction process and project bidding

·       Ability to build relationships with team members, subcontractors and vendors

·       Experience with Bluebeam (Revu) is preferred but not required

 

YOU WILL BE AN AWESOME ADDITION TO THE TEAM IF:

·       You are organized, detailed, and the ability to work in a fast paced and sometime demanding environment

·       Willing to work hard and driven to meet or exceed deadlines

·       Aptitude to problem solve and prioritize assignments/workload

·       You are a Self-starter and self-motivated to “figure it out” without being told what to do

·       You act with integrity and maintain a great relationship with all parties throughout the land development process

·       You are excited to work with one of the top home builders in the valley

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience & qualification for the position
