Position Overview:

 

The Marketing Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing activities for Upstate Federal Credit Union. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to marketing and business development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Business Promotion: Actively promote Upstate Federal Credit Union's services and membership benefits to potential and existing members.

- Membership Growth: Assist in strategies and activities aimed at increasing credit union membership and engagement.

- On-Site Account Sign-Up: Facilitate account sign-ups and provide information to prospective members at various locations.

- Community Outreach: Visit local businesses, schools, and other community organizations to enhance the credit union's presence and foster relationships.

- Monthly Sign Plans: Contribute to the development and implementation of monthly sign plans for branches to ensure consistent and effective messaging.

- Annual Meeting Preparation: Help prepare and set up for the credit union's annual meeting, including coordinating logistics and materials.

- Travel Requirements: Regular travel within the area to meet with community partners and attend events.

- Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall business objectives.

 

Qualifications:

 

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

- Experience: Credit union or marketing experience is a plus but not required.

 

Skills:

 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

 

Physical Requirements:

Ability to talk, stand, walk, and use hands and arms frequently. Occasional lifting of up to 10+ pounds may be required.

 

Travel:

Must be willing to travel within the area as needed.

 

Working Conditions

 

- Environment: This position will involve working both in an office setting and in the field.

- Hours: Standard business hours with occasional evening or weekend work as needed for events or community outreach.
