Job Description:-

This position will be responsible for leading the development and execution of electrical validation test plans for SERDES interface for high performance CPUs and add in cards.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Ability to perform debug of failing test plans and /or SERDES interfaces.

Understanding of and being able to bring up and adjust SERDES parameters for optimal link performance.

Delivering regular status updates via PowerPoint or similar.

Analysis of test results and determining next steps for validation / experimentation.

Operate high speed oscilloscopes and related equipment to measure and test high speed ASIC I/O.

Execute and or supervise the execution of I/O characterization test plans.

Developing and debugging automation for benchtop test flows.

Develop and analyze scripts in Python or similar language to facilitate and automate test sequences.

Ability to develop and debug firmware in an embedded environment.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years experience or Masters in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years experience.

Extensive laboratory experience with signal integrity concepts and best practices including: ISI, Jitter, eye diagrams, transmission line theory, high speed digital oscilloscope experience.

Specific knowledge of electrical layer for high speed ethernet and/ or PCI Express analysis is a plus.

Moderate proficiency with programming languages: C, C++, or Python.

Experience working in a benchtop lab environment.

Experience in an engineering leadership position.

Ability to work cross-organizationally and collaborate
