Our client is looking to fill the role f Senior FP&A Analyst. This role will be on site in the Houston office.


Responsibilities:


  • Extract data from various sources to service routine business reporting functions
  • Manipulate and leverage the relevant data and tools for visual analytics and dash-boarding to ensure the info provided carry out insightful and presentable analyses
  • Source data to assist with ad hoc projects as when required
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial analyses, reports, and presentations to senior management, providing insights into financial performance, variances, and trends
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to support decision-making processes
  • Manage production and delivery of routine monthly financial processes, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • Cost management and field investment requests from all US functional departments, as well as manage budget spending by all departments
  • Identify and develop improvement opportunities and potential process re-design solutions
  • Bottoms-up build of expenses and revenue for the annual budget and mid-year reforecast
  • Develop and enhance financial forecasting and budgeting models and as needed, serving local and corporate HQ needs
  • Manage the target setting process for Managers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Core Functions, to provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives and business decisions;
  • Offer financial guidance and recommendations to support resource allocation, cost optimization, and revenue enhancement efforts


Required Qualifications:


  • Extensive financial management and reporting experience
  • Strong experience of budgeting and forecasting (5+ years)
  • Attention to detail as well as ability to look at the bigger picture
  • Ability to produce and deliver powerful presentations
  • Able to work with all levels within an organization
  • Exceptional data analysis skills, with ability to pull out valuable insights
  • Can do attitude with a positive mindset
  • A team player - able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Willingness and desire to continuously learn about new techniques and acquire new knowledge
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the agility to handle change
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Previous exposure to senior members of staff is essential
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, Mercury and D365 is preferred
