SALES GENERATION/CLIENT EXPERIENCE
- Meet, and exceed personal and store sales goals.
- Analyze selling and sales reports to determine the needs of the store.
- Set individual sales goals for team and follow-up daily on performance.
- Motivate sales staff to meet sales goals.
- Support the development of associates' selling techniques.
- Consistently interact and lead on the sales floor with staff and clients.
- Demonstrate sales leadership for staff by role playing.
- Develop store events for clients to grow the store's client base.
- Ensure staff is creating the ultimate client experience on sales floor and in fitting room area.
- Build and maintain repeat clientele by utilizing personal client book and assisting staff with utilizing their client books.
- Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively.
OPERATIONS
- Ensure all maintenance issues are communicated in a timely manner.
- Control monthly petty cash spending.
- Schedule associates to maintain adequate floor coverage while maintaining payroll costs.
- Ensure shipment deliveries are properly processed in a timely manner.
- Meet inventory accuracy and shrink requirements using inventory reports/cycle counts.
- Ensure staff is trained in all areas of operations.
- Build and maintain good communication with members of corporate.
- Understand and properly execute all register functions.
- Conduct yearly inventory and weekly inventory reports.
- Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Enforce cash control procedures including: bank deposits, safe funds, and petty cash.
- Ensure all weekly/monthly paperwork is submitted on time to corporate.
MERCHANDISING/VISUAL MERCHANDISING
- Implement and maintain all merchandising directives and ensure execution of effective merchandising strategies.
- Work and effectively communicate with the Corporate Visual Merchandising team.
- Ensure selling floor is neat, clean, and organized and reflect the brands image.
- Ensure shipment deliveries are properly processed in a timely manner.
- Identify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner.
- Communicate inventory needs to support the business goal.
HUMAN RESOURCES
- Recruit, train, and develop staff.
- Ensure all open positions are filled in a timely manner.
- Conduct annual performance reviews with staff.
- Resolve all human resource issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure wardrobe policy is properly implemented and followed.
- Ensure payroll and employee paperwork is accurate and submitted on time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have at least 3-5 years of retail management experience.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Must be able to work in fast pace environment with sense of urgency.
- Ability to adapt quickly to the brands culture.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of fashion and interior design.
- Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be able to lift 20-25 pounds.
- Must have a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
