Job Title: Custodian ICustodian I will be responsible for the custodial cleaning activities in bioMerieux SLC administrative areas. Primary duties include cleaning, proper removal of trash and other waste streams ensuring all waste is properly disposed, cleaning floors, walls, touch surfaces, glass, hallways, restrooms, break rooms, equipment, outdoor/indoor common areas, cafeterias, etc. Report any facility or safety concerns to the supervisor. Other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:High School or GED RequiredMust have reliable transportationCustical experience preferredAbility to read, write, and communicate in EnglishKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:High attention to detail and follow throughReceive and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate effectivelyDemonstrate effective teamwork with all staffAbility to follow job assignments completely and efficientlyAbility to operate custodial equipment such as vacuum cleaners and buffersBasic Computer email and data entry skillsKnowledge of SDS (Safety Data Sheets), cleaning products and their methods of useAbility to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships throughout the companyAbility to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periodsAbility to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the likeAbility to wear PPE correctly most of the dayAbility to operate heavy machineryAbility to adjust or move objects up to 40 pounds in all directionsPlease be aware that recruitment related scams are on the rise.
