Responsibilities:

  • Designing/implementing network solutions - routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, firewalls
  • Developing/maintaining network architecture and design documents
  • Ensuring network scalability, security, and performance
  • Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting network issues
  • Optimizing network performance through regular assessments and upgrades
  • Implementing/managing network monitoring tools
  • Designing/enforcing network security policies and procedures
  • Managing/configuring network firewalls and security appliances
  • Collaborating with IT and OT teams to support network requirements
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers
  • Collaborating with other departments to support business objectives and projects
  • Maintaining detailed documentation - diagrams, configurations, and procedures
  • Preparing/presenting reports on network performance and projects to leadership team


Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Cisco products: Cisco SD-WAN, ACI, FTD, Nexus OS, Catalyst Switching
  • Proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching technologies, and wireless networks
  • Strong knowledge of SD-WAN
  • Experience with network firewalls and security best practices
  • Familiarity with both IT and OT environments
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher (CCIE) is required


Compensation:

$60.00 - $85.00 per hour
