As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you'll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of Making Communities Healthier.The LBS Payroll team oversees payroll operations for facilities across the Lifepoint network, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency. We operate in a collaborative, solutions-focused environment that values process improvement, operational excellence, and strong partnership with facility stakeholders and cross-functional teams such as People Services and Finance.How You'll ContributeA Director, LBS Payroll who excels in this role:Directs all aspects of payroll processing operations to ensure accurate and timely paymentsOversees Lifepoint Business Services payroll functions and ensures consistent application of payroll practices, policies, and proceduresEnsures compliance with audit standards, regulatory requirements, DOL/Treasury rules, and company policiesProvides direction and support to local PSDs on payroll-related issues and escalates concerns as neededPartners with People Services to manage policies and procedures impacting employment management, benefits, and payrollDesigns short- and long-term strategies to improve payroll operations, drive efficiency, and enhance internal controlsOversees system upgrades, process enhancements, and payroll-related projectsMaintains strong communication and customer service with facilities and internal stakeholdersSupports finance-related reporting and audit requestsMaintains regular and reliable attendancePerforms other duties as assignedWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Additional requirements include:Bachelor's Degree required; preferably in a business-related field9+ years of payroll experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership roleCPP (Certified Payroll Professional) preferredStrong knowledge of payroll regulations, policies, and audit complianceExperience leading teams, driving process improvement, and managing complex payroll functionsAdvanced communication and relationship management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentLifepoint Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
