The Role The AWS Senior AI Solutions Architect partners with customers to design and build scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions. This role involves collaborating with AWS Sales and other teams to address customer business challenges and facilitate the adoption of AWS services. As a trusted advocate, you will guide organizations in understanding best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, offering strategies for building, migrating, and scaling generative AI & ML workloads in the cloud. Your role will be vital in driving successful business outcomes across diverse enterprise customers through your passion for educating, training, designing, and building cloud solutions. You will leverage ML and Generative AI tools, such as Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon Q, to design, promote, and implement cutting-edge solutions for complex problems. Your efforts will help achieve positive business outcomes across a broad customer spectrum through your commitment to education and solution development. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and developing industry-specific generative AI solutions involving large-scale data processing and modeling. You will define requirements, create solution designs, implement code according to specifications, and support deployed solutions used by our industry clients. Travel will mostly be regional, with an expectation of 15-20%. Key Responsibilities Ensure successful design, construction, and migration of applications, software, and services on the AWS platform. Engage directly with customers to understand their business challenges and assist them in implementing their AI/ML ecosystem. Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and showcase the possibilities available. Participate in in-depth architectural discussions and design exercises to create exceptional solutions built on AWS, ensuring successful deployment. Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, workshops, demos, and proof of concepts. Build strong relationships with senior technical leaders within customer organizations to empower them to advocate for cloud adoption. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience in specific technology domains. 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures. 7+ years of experience in IT development or consulting within the software or internet industries. Hands-on experience architecting and deploying full-stack generative AI workloads to production systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience optimizing production generative AI or Hybrid AI workloads for cost, latency, or resilience. PhD in Computer Science with specialization in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Natural Language Processing, or a Master’s in Computer Science with a strong AI/ML focus. Knowledge of large-scale automation and workflow management or equivalent experience.
