The incumbent will oversee receiving and maintenance operations while setting up the layout to ensure efficient space utilization throughout the facility.This position is Monday through Friday, 5:00 pm to finish.Imperial Dade is the leading independently owned and operated distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies in North America. Founded in 1935 and headquartered in New Jersey, Imperial Dade serves as a mission-critical partner to more than 120,000 customers through our footprint of 130+ branches.**All correspondence will come directly from Imperial Dade and not a personal email address**ResponsibilitiesYou will:Manage receiving, warehousing, and maintenance operationsSetup layout and ensure efficient space utilizationEnsure productivity targets are achieved, and warehouse processes are running optimally.Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with the company's policies and visionMaintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and securityManage stock control and reconcile with the data storage systemContribute to annual budget developmentCollaborate with clients, suppliers, and transport companiesRecruit, select, train, coach, and motivate employeesProduce reports and statistics regularlyReceive feedback and monitor the quality of services providedQualificationsYou have:A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience3+ years of warehouse management experienceProcess improvement expertiseStrong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Proficiency in warehouse management software and databasesStrong problem-solving skillsSafety management and inventory control skillsExcellent communication skillsWe offer a dynamic environment for our more than 7,500 employees to work, learn, and grow professionally.
