We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced manager to oversee our quality assurance and control processes. In this role, you will be the owner of all food safety and quality programs. We are specifically looking for someone who is excited to get their hands dirty to create better, more robust, more structured, more proactive processes, protocols, standards, and culture.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, Improve, Report on, Manage, Create, and/or Implement applicable food safety and quality programs, in compliance with FSMA and other regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate, Improve, Implement, Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), food safety policies, procedures, and schedules.
- Evaluate, Improve, Implement, Maintain inspection, sampling, testing, and monitoring programs to assure all products are manufactured to meet customer specifications.
- Evaluate, Improve, Implement, Maintain customer and supplier quality issue processing, documenting, resolving programs.
- Prepare for and facilitate food safety audits and inspections, including SQF, across all facilities.
- Manage the development of team members. Remove roadblocks, push communication, encourage, and assesses performance
- Create and implement systems and processes for quality data collection, analysis and visualization
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase operational efficiencies and communication
- Promote a positive, proactive, detail-oriented environment
