Nestle USA is seeking several motivated Maintenance Mechanics to join our team in Schaumburg, IL for all shifts. This role is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical automation systems. Our Maintenance Mechanics directly contribute to the production of household pizza brands known and loved by American families.

WHAT‘S IN IT FOR YOU:

    • 1st Shift 6am to 2:30pm

    • 2nd Shift 2:00 to 10pm -$0.75 shift differential

    • 3rd Shift 10pm to 6:30am -$1.25 shift differential

WHAT YOU‘LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Operates, troubleshoots, and maintains mechanical and electrical automation equipment including motor control circuits, drives, and PLC systems.

  • Performs preventive and corrective maintenance, rebuilds, and calibrations according to work orders in CMMS.

  • Monitors equipment performance during production start-up, changeovers, and new installs.

  • Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP‘s) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.

  • Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP‘s).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, holidays, or rotating shifts required

  • High school diploma orGED ispreferred

  • Technical Degreesuch as Industrial Maintenance or Electrical/Mechanical Maintenanceis preferred

  • 1+ years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, AC/Servo drives, motors, and controls required

SKILLS:

  • 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience; food manufacturing experience is preferred

  • Ability to use electrical test equipment and take measurements accurately

  • Ability to read, interpret, and revise documents such as equipment manuals, policies, instructions, and schematics

  • Experience with computers including CMMS, Microsoft, and PDF applications

  • Ability to speak, write, and understand English. Ability to speak Spanish is preferred
