The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset.Primary DutiesAssist in developing the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and other interim outlooksLead monthly financial close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and detailed variance analyses to explain performance deviationsPartner with functional leaders to deliver actionable insights that identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support strategic decision-makingPrepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior leadershipSupport the development of capital expenditure business cases and ensure accurate and compliant accounting treatment throughout the project lifecycleDevelop and maintain financial models for forward-looking projections including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statementsDrive continuous improvements in financial reporting, forecasting, and analysisPerforming duties consistent with the Company's AAP/EEO goals and policies.Performing other duties as required/assigned by manager.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredBachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with three to five years of experience in finance or related role focused on analyticsHighly analytical with ability to effectively present data and the underlying story to managementAdvanced Excel skills including financial modeling and scenario analysesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsContinuous improvement mindsetComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentWorking Conditions: Normal office environment.Wolverine Worldwide has a flexible, hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office and two days remote.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills which may be required.
