Travel Emergency Department (ED) RN - Rochester, NY

Location: Various healthcare facilities in Rochester, NY

Pay:

Total weekly compensation: $2,612.00

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Shifts:

Day/Night Rotation
Rotating shifts may include 12-hour shifts or other configurations
Must work every other weekend

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to patients in the emergency department, including those with trauma, stroke, cardiac, and general medical conditions.
Assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with various medical and surgical emergencies.
Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and assist with procedures as needed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure timely and appropriate patient care.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their conditions and treatment plans.
Float to like units within the facility as needed.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of New York.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH.
Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Information:

Must have experience with Epic EMR preferred.
