Is mental health nursing your passion? Beacon Inpatient Lutcher has Full Time 12-hours shifts, AM & PM opportunities. Full Time RNs have the opportunity to earn up to $10,000 retention bonus. Part Time and PRN opportunities as well. We have competitive market rates.

Beacon Behavioral is one of the largest and most established behavioral health programs in Louisiana. For over 25 years, Beacon employs caring staff at locations across southeast Louisiana: Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Metairie, Alexandria, Slidell, Hammond, Bogalusa, Bunkie, Opelousas, and Lutcher. We currently provide inpatient programs, residential, intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and traditional outpatient programs that provide therapy to those struggling with emotional disorders, substance abuse, and mental disorders. Our Private Practice operations have expanded to include Arkansas, Mississippi, Texas, Alabama, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Pittsburg. We will continue our growth with Beacon Behavioral Partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have Registered Nurse Licensure in the state of operation.
Must have a Bachelor’s, Associate degree or diploma in nursing with documented evidence of educational program focused on treating psychiatric patients.
Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience, 1 year of which was providing nursing care to the mentally ill, OR receive regular documented supervision/consultation from a Master’s prepared psychiatric nurse.
Must be able to take call every other weekend.
Must be willing to precept newly hired RNs into Beacon's nursing and hospital operations policy and procedures.
Certification in Basic Life Support required.
Certification in non-violent crisis intervention.
