Fully onsite M-F Night Shift 7pm-7am

6 mo. Rolling contract (extension based upon performance)


Job Details:


The main function of a Data Center Technician is to monitor software to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions.


  • Performs assigned tasks and escalates issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations.
  • Leverages process knowledge and best judgment to complete next task without direct supervision.
  • Coordinates, prepares, and executes incoming/outgoing deliveries (e.g. purchase order [PO] receiving,
  • Rack Movement Supervisor [RMS] activities.
  • Ensures complete and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
  • Performs inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various Data Center regulatory compliance or certification control audit activity.
  • Performs material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard process.
  • Ensures detailed physical inventory tracking and staging. Performs destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) following all documented procedures and runbooks


Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required
  • 2-5 years experience required
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time
