IT Project Manager

HI For our Client from banking industry we are looking for IT Project Manager Job Summary:The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning execution and successful delivery of a project focused on removing obsolete infrastructure software such as Java Python and Virtual C versions from the organizations systems. The Project Manager will collaborate with crossfunctional teams manage resources and ensure that the project meets its goals while maintaining compliance with security and operational standards. Key Responsibilities:1. Project Planning & Initiation2. Stakeholder Management & Communication3. Risk & Issue Management:Conduct a risk assessment for each obsolete software version prioritizing removal or upgrade based on the level of vulnerability system criticality and usage.4. Execution & Coordination:Oversee the endtoend process of removing obsolete versions of Java Python Virtual C and other infrastructure software.Coordinate the testing validation and rollout of new software versions ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.5. Driving of Removal Process:Drive the execution of the decommissioning or upgrade of outdated software including handson technical involvement where necessary.Coordinate closely with IT Operations Security and Application teams to ensure a smooth transition to updated versions.6. Change Management:Implement change management processes including preparing change requests approvals and impact assessments for software removals.Work closely with the IT change advisory board (CAB) to get approvals for systemwide changes.7. Compliance & Security Assurance:Ensure that the removal and upgrading of software align with company policies security standards and regulatory compliance requirements.Maintain thorough documentation of project actions decisions and results. Preferred Certifications:PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification.ITIL Foundation or equivalent (preferred).Certifications in cloud infrastructure or relevant technologies (optional).This Project Manager role will be instrumental in ensuring the organizations infrastructure software remains secure uptodate and compliant by leading the removal of obsolete software versions.The role requires excellent project management skills technical knowledge and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to deliver a successful outcome.
