Title: Packaging Testing Lead

Location: Rockford, IL

Job Description:

  • Soft skillsets: – Highly motivated, entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable leading activities, tasks, and a team of Testing Engineers and interns.
  • Technical skillsets: – Strong project management, technical documentation competencies, report writing, package design & prototyping, cross-functional partnership & collaboration. SME-level understanding of pharmaceutical packaging development and package performance testing.
  • Day-to-day duties may consist of direct client consultations, design reviews, Root Cause Analysis, calls with package testing vendors, cross-collaboration with the team to execute necessary tests, and assistance with developing new hire training materials for the Test Services program.
  • Close collaboration with on-site Package Design and Engineering teams to help onboard new client projects and provide support with various package performance testing services.
  • Assist in the planning and deployment of a new onsite Package Testing Lab to enhance PCI’s packaging performance and feasibility testing capabilities.


Education & Experience:

  • 7 years of experience required
