MasTec Civil Roadway SuperintendentThe MasTec Civil Roadway Superintendent is entrusted with overseeing and managing all aspects of roadway construction projects. This role requires a deep understanding and hands-on experience in day-to-day field operations, ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory standards. MasTec's Clean Energy and Infrastructure Group (CE&I) is a $4 billion annual revenue business unit that provides construction services for industrial facilities; building products manufacturers, power generation facilities, manufacturing plants; solar, wind, and thermal energy plants; buildings, and infrastructure.Responsibilities:Attend all required pre job meeting(s)Review the scope of each project with the Project Manager and Area Manager prior to beginning workReceive and review all union contracts prior to union pre jobsSet up job site prior to the start of the projectReview and understand cost codes prior to starting workCommunicate and maintain a good working relationship with FDOT, inspectors, subcontractors and ownersEnsure that all work is completed according to the specifications for the projectCoordinate all subcontractor operationsManage the local union relationshipSupervise all on site employees for assigned projects.
