Jr. Electrician

The Jr. Electrician will play a pivotal role in wiring, installing, and maintaining electrical control systems based on technical blueprints. With a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety, the technician will interpret technical documents accurately and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.

Focus:

• Interpret and understand technical blueprints and diagrams accurately.
• Efficiently wire control panels according to specifications.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical components as necessary.
• Wire three-phase motors and handle cable tray installations.
• Perform tasks such as wiring pushbutton enclosures and routing switch cords meticulously.
• Operate various tools and equipment essential for electrical tasks.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a secure work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in additional tasks and projects as required.

Skill Set:

• High school diploma, technical certification, or equivalent education required.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical installation or related technical field.
• Forklift operation certification.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on safety.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical documents and diagrams.
• Efficient wiring skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in electrical installations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain a passport if required.
• Commitment to adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
• Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines.
