THE ROLE


Tally Health is looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer to commit 20 hours per week during a 3 month maternity leave cover July-September. The candidate must be a strong creative thinker that follows current trends and has a good understanding of the digital-native, mobile-led, social world. We are looking for a self-driven designer with smart, beautiful designs, pixel-perfection, and an unmatched eye for detail whose taste, aesthetic and point of view aligns with Tally Health’s elevated, yet human, visual universe. 

 

Essential qualities:


  • Excellent taste, sense of aesthetic, typography and composition skills, and color sensibility.
  • Understanding of platform/social channel nuances.
  • Team player. Positive and open-minded. Receptive to feedback from others. 
  • Result and solution-oriented.
  • Highly detailed oriented and organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment. Adapts easily to change and demonstrates flexibility in shifting goals and priorities.
  • Self-reliant and self-motivated but knows when to bring in others.
  • Bonus: Have early startup experience


Required skills/experiences:


  • ~5 years of experience in Digital Design; experience in Digital Advertisement is a must.
  • Elevated graphic design style and a compelling portfolio that demonstrates excellence in flawless execution.
  • Animation knowledge.
  • Deep knowledge of and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud Products 

 

Responsibilities:


  • Develop brilliant, innovative and carefully crafted motion work, animated gifs and videos in final production quality for web and social media platforms.
  • Design, concept, and build digital advertising materials on a day-to-day basis. Leverage data-driven insights from ad performance and industry best practices to inform the creative approach.
  • Create thoughtful and elevated design solutions that adhere to the brand standards and style guidelines - while still pushing creative limits.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing, creative, and product team to concept innovative, experimental ideas across various platforms and campaigns including Instagram, Tiktok, and Facebook.
  • Generate multiple design explorations and iterate designs incorporating feedback received.
