Payroll SpecialistOur company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and internal policies, and delivering exceptional service to our employees.Key Responsibilities:Process biweekly or monthly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timelinessMaintain payroll records and handle adjustments, garnishments, and withholding requestsPrepare and reconcile payroll reports for finance and managementRespond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and deductionsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsAssist with year-end procedures including W-2s and other required filingsCollaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure payroll-related data integrityRequirements:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred2+ years of payroll processing experienceStrong understanding of payroll systems and Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing payrollExcellent organizational and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information with discretionRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
