Diagnostic Imaging Assistant

The scheduling portion of this position is accountable for scheduling multiple complex imaging procedures by obtaining appropriate patient demographics and current/historical medical information (i.e., ICD-9 Coding, History and Profile). Complexity of this position is evidenced by the use of simple and complex medical terminology and scheduling protocols. The image management portion of this position is responsible for control and management of patient images and reports, including areas such as Surgery and Critical Care. Must also think independently and make relatively complex decisions in a fast-paced environment. Provides superior customer service and service recovery, utilizing good judgment that meets or exceeds the expectations of patients, visitors, physicians and Providence Health System staff.

Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated outstanding customer service experience.
- 2 years of Clerical experience, radiology experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Business or college courses.
