ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Senior Accountant to work as part of our IH&S Reporting team. This position plays a critical role in the integrity of the financial statements and management reporting related to the monthly close and for all domestic manufacturing business locations within IH&S. This position will be responsible for day-to-day reporting processes, ensuring controls are functioning properly, and will be a key player in detailed, accurate and timely submissions. The Senior Accountant is responsible for the compilation of data and reports for effective presentation of information to the finance groups, operations team members, and commercial partners. This role will partner with Finance and Accounting professionals across other functions (Commercial, Cost & Inventory, Operational FP&A and Shared Services). This position will work closely with Site Operations and Shared Functions to ensure accurate reporting. This role requires the ability to interpret general business information and understand technical procedures and policies. Responsibilities Include: Critical support to the monthly close by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and other supplemental reporting Responsible for daily review of "Shipped Not Invoiced" report and works to solve any sales orders that do not properly post to the G/L Support financial statement and SOX auditing processes Support the monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting cycles Supports the development of new FP&A reporting & process standardization throughout the organization including but not limited to Management Reporting by Product Line, department budgeting. Supports other functional Finance & Accounting members to meet business objectives and provide appropriate support to local site business management. Help research and answer technical questions to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting and/or business discipline Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of Accounting experience Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and supporting accounting and financial report creation Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to research and apply accounting pronouncements as appropriate Proficient PC/ERP experience; JD Edwards, OneStream and PowerBi preferred Strong grasp of SOX requirements Superior verbal and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment within and outside of the Accounting Department Total Rewards (MAY VARY BY STATE) The compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonus plan. Total Rewards The compensation range for this position is $83,800.00 - $125,800.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
