Candidate Requirements:

AWB Engineers, a multi-discipline architectural and engineering design firm, is seeking a full-time, licensed, Senior Architect to join our team in Salisbury, MD. Candidates must possess an NAAB-accredited degree in Architecture and NCARB certification and be proficient in the use of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other related design development programs. 


Experience: 

Prior experience in a professional design setting is required, with a minimum of five years of experience preferred.


Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of all phases of professional design services, from Schematic Design through Construction Administration
  • Prepare contracts and proposals
  • Evaluate program requirements
  • Perform code analyses
  • Develop designs and related construction documents
  • Collaborate with other design team members
  • Complete quality control reviews of documents
  • Interact with clients, contractors and regulatory officials
  • Review shop drawings and submittals
  • Supervise Staff Architects and CAD/BIM technicians
  • Perform other project management-related tasks
