The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement and operational excellence.


Primary Objectives:

  • Strategic efforts as it relates to sales and business development of new and existing partnerships through the consultative UCP Sales Approach.
  • Create, maintain and increase branch profitability through sales and operations excellence.
  • Engage in community and networking events to maximize branding.
  • Create contacts within the industry and attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings.
  • Plan and direct branch activities to successfully meet goals and objectives.
  • Direct all branch operational aspects including operations, customer service, human resources, administration, sales, and work closely with corporate personnel as needed.
  • Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
  • Bring out the best of the branch's personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation.
  • Audit branch performance relating to job openings, recruiting activities and making valuable use of spare time.
  • Address customers and employee satisfaction issues promptly by utilizing our Quality Assurance Process.
  • Assist in safety initiatives for associates including prompt reporting, follow-up of injuries, to include safety site visits on new and existing clients.
  • Drive revenue through networking and sales initiatives by being present in the market.
  • Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration.
  • Meet or exceed net operating income and sales budget goals.
  • Implement and manage a detailed marketing campaign to increase customer awareness.
  • Use the consultative UCP Sales Strategy to effectively resolve client objections and maximize sales activity within assigned territory.
  • Interface with appropriate field management to establish pricing for quotes and bids that are consistent with the company’s financial objectives.
  • Meet/exceed Sales related Key Performance Indicator (KPI) expectations and ensure that reporting is done on time.
  • Organize weekly sales efforts utilizing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including all contacts, activities, appointments, and opportunities.
  • Recruit, select, and hire qualified internal employees; ensure the office is adequately staffed with competent, quality employees and there is a consistent pipeline of talent identified and available for new positions.
  • Apply and evaluate policies and procedures for the office. Ensure compliance of office with organization policies, federal/state regulations, and employment laws, including unemployment and workers compensation.
  • Manage the security and safety of the office; analyze and monitor security and safety procedures according to the standards set by management; ensure staff is trained on the security and emergency policies and procedures of the organization.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


The ideal candidate will possess the following:


  • 4-year College Degree or equivalent business experience.
  • 2-4 years of business to business sales experience or a strong desire to learn
  • Staffing industry experience, preferably in business development
  • Familiar with consultative, solutions-based selling
  • Strong sales presentation and persuasion skills
  • Possess a high sense of urgency and self confidence
  • Work well within a quota driven environment
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual preferred.
  • Energetic, self-manager who can lead and achieve sales goals.

Hours, Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Regular office hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • The role of the Branch Manager may vary depending on the needs of the business. Potential nights and weekend hours may occur as needed.
  • This position is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk and/or hear for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or more than 50 pounds.
