Summary

BCH is actively seeking Commercial Risk Advisors (Producers) to join the BCH Team. In this role the Risk Advisor is responsible to develop and sustain client relationships while functioning as their Risk Manager, targeting mid-size businesses and seizing every opportunity to exceed sales goals.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for prospecting, soliciting, proposing, and selling new business and for the retention of existing clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with midsize businesses while functioning as a Risk Manager
  • Collaborate with decision makers and key stakeholders to determine commercial insurance needs against available insurance products and negotiation terms and conditions
  • Deliver a high level of personal attention to prospective and existing customers, personally visiting them to follow up as needed, and provide coaching management on commercial insurance policy options upon request
  • Implement a range of sales and networking strategies such as prospecting and cold calling potential customers to maintain grow customer base and provide outstanding service to your existing book of business; positioning the company as one with a competitive advantage at every opportunity
  • Use sales tools and methods promoted by Brady, Chapman, Holland & Associates, Inc., to identify, qualify, develop and cultivate prospects into revenue-producing relationships.
  • Create a sales pipeline that includes prospects that meet the profile of the ideal Brady, Chapman, Holland & Associates, Inc., client
  • Seizes opportunity to grow book by recognizing client needs, offering available products through cross-selling of coverages
  • Manages and services existing book of business
  • Attends required Sales and BCH meetings


Education/Experience/Abilities

  • Deep knowledge of available insurance policies and insurance coverage offerings, including their limits and value propositions
  • Sound knowledge or eagerness to learn the intricacies of working procedures within commercial enterprises to best advise clients on relevant policies
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for commercial lines
  • Possesses and maintains a valid driver’s license, good driving record and reliable transportation
  • At least two years previous business to business sales experience including experience selling to executives and senior level management
  • Must possess a current Texas General Lines Property & Casualty or General Lines Life, Accident Health HMO License or obtain during BCH training period.
