Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Marine Artist located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. As a Marine Artist at King Sailfish Mounts, you will be involved in gathering specimens, molding, casting, and airbrushing various species of local gamefish. You'll collaborate closely with our team to create realistic and meticulously detailed fish mounts and replicas, contributing to projects that celebrate marine life and conservation.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in airbrushing and replication.
• Proficiency in color theory and creating realistic, detailed fish mounts and replicas. (or something similar)
• In-depth knowledge of marine species and their unique characteristics.
• Strong artistic skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent team collaboration, time management, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated creativity and the ability to realize artistic visions.
• Passion for marine conservation and environmental sustainability.
• Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision but must play well with others.
• Must be a local candidate or planning to relocate to the Fort Lauderdale area (no relocation package provided).
• Must pass a background test.
• Team style interview process – must be a team player.
• Must enjoy fishing and be flexible in job duties, from painting to casting to tournament fishing offshore.
