Our Client’s Air Quality Services division seeks a Senior or Principal Air Quality Engineer/Scientist to join their Houston, Texas team. This seller-doer role involves managing air quality permitting and compliance, air dispersion modeling, and other ESG initiatives, while also developing new business opportunities in the Houston and Gulf Coast markets.

Requirements:

• Experience: 12-15 years in air quality permitting and compliance.

• Education: BS in Civil, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, or related field.

• Skills:

o Strong business development track record.

o Expertise in environmental regulations and technical applications.

o Proficiency in time management.

o Experience in client and regulator relationship management.

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

o Capability to manage, mentor, and train staff.

o Ability to collaborate effectively in line with the organization’s culture.

Qualifications:

• MS or PhD in Civil, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, or related field.

• 5-10 years of supervisory experience.

• 5-10 years in project scoping and proposal preparation.

• Experience with air quality dispersion modeling (e.g., AERMOD, ISC-PRIME).

• PE license or EIT license with the goal of obtaining a PE license.
