Position Title: Chemical Engineer

Pay Rate: $28/HR

Locations: ONSITE @ Elkhorn, NE

Must Haves:

• 1-3 years working in a lab environment
• Hands-on experience within lab, pilot-scale, or manufacturing environment
• Strong problem solving skills with a hands-on approach – takes initiative without being asked
• Highly developed verbal and written communication and teamwork skills
• Chemical Engineering Degree (Bio Chem, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering)

Plusses:

• Working knowledge of GMP
• Understanding of statistics and application to process monitoring and control
• Understanding of project management
• Knowledge of the following terms: Cell culture, provision, continuous improvement manufacturing, proteins, data analytics, Bioreactors

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Chemical Engineer for a large industry leading pharmaceutical company that will join their Bio Technology Solutions team and support multi-product vaccine manufacturing processes. The Chemical Engineer will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Planning, Procurement, and other support groups to manufacture products, coordinate projects, and investigate processes to make continue improvement changes and drive strategic product/process initiatives forward. This is a great position for someone who is looking for hands on experience or further opportunities within the following areas: Chemical, Biological, Automation, Capital Projects, Maintenance, Safety, Process Development, Technical Services, Utilities and Validation. Their time will be spent in three different areas: 1. Writing protocols, Project Planning, and Reviewing Regulatory Policies 2. Working with production to scale up experiences 3. Developing products and chemical engineering within the lab.

Compensation:

$22/hr to $28/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
