Pride Health is hiring a Nuclear Med Tech to support our client's hospital facility in Charleston, SC. This is a 3-months contract role.


Job Summary:

Following established protocol and under the medical supervision of certified radiologists, nuclear medicine technologists will perform procedures for the direct results of interpretation. Technologists will assist the radiologists on procedures as needed and be responsible for supervision of student Radiologic Technologists assigned to them. Encourages and maintains good customer relations.


Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Following established protocols and under the direction of Radiologists, perform procedures for direct results of interpretations.
  • Obtain correct written order for the procedure.
  • Use supplies with emphasis on cost containment.
  • Ensure patient’s understanding of the procedure.
  • Communicate with family members regarding discharge instructions.
  • Support and promote department efforts in meeting established projects and goals and/or specific individual goals.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and accountability in job duties and be a self-starter.
  • Take initiative towards improving departmental operations (offer ideas and solutions) and consistently complete EDE.


Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals.
  • South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA) Radiographer Certification.
  • Nuclear Medicine Certification from ARRT or NMTCB.
  • BLS (AHA-American Heart Association).
  • At least a year recent experience working as a PET/CT.


Shift Time: M-F; 7 am- 3:30 pm. Some on-call may be needed.

Location: Charleston, SC

Floating Requirements: NA

Travel Gross Pay: $2840/Week for 40 hours/Week

Local Pay Range: $58 - $63 hourly

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, and education.
