Apply today for our PRN Licensed Vocational Nurse for Rehabilitation position and continue to grow in your career Job Summary and Qualifications As a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, you will assist patients in regaining strength, mobility, and independence after illness or injury. With average patient stays of two to three weeks, you will form meaningful connections and observe the positive impact of your care. Your responsibilities will include: Administering medications and treatments while monitoring patients' responses and reporting changes. Assisting patients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities to encourage independence. Monitoring vital signs and neurological status to identify and respond to changes swiftly. Documenting progress to assist with care planning and coordination. Educating patients and families on recovery milestones and self-care techniques. Collaborating with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver customized, high-quality care. Required qualifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
