Senior Architectural Project Manager

Focus:

  • Assist in crafting proposals in response to Request for Proposals for public sector projects, and participate actively in the interview process with potential new clients.
  • Lead the comprehensive progression of project designs from conception through completion, embodying forward-thinking leadership and groundbreaking results.
  • Manage both the design team and client relations, ensuring smooth communication, and alignment of expectations.
  • Engage in robust client management, maintaining and strengthening existing relationships while exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire junior team members, guiding them towards professional growth and excellence in their respective roles.


Skill Set:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in an architectural firm, with a proven track record of leadership in significant projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Strong conceptual, communication, planning, and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to excel as a leader in a team environment across a variety of projects and tasks.
  • Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software is highly advantageous.
  • Comprehensive expertise in interpreting and implementing the International Building Code alongside a deep familiarity with Massachusetts' specific sub-bid legislation for state projects.

  • Professional licensure in Architecture is required.
