As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a crucial role in providing direct care and support to our residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, promote their independence and well-being, and contribute to a warm and welcoming environment where residents feel valued and respected.

Responsibilities include:
• Adhering to facility policies and procedures
• Providing direct care to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding, according to individual care plans and preferences
• Assisting residents with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices as needed
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, intake and output, and other relevant information, reporting any changes or concerns to licensed nursing staff
• Responding promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance, demonstrating compassion, patience, and empathy in all interactions
• Assisting with therapeutic and recreational activities designed to enhance residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to promote continuity of care and meet individual needs and preferences of residents
• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting socialization and engagement

Requirements include:
• Being at least 18 years old
• Holding an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License in the State of practice
• Completing a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program
• Demonstrating a patient-centered approach to resident care
• Possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Being reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
