This company has built a strong reputation for excellence, innovation, and integrity. They are currently looking to bring on an experienced Senior Superintendent to join their New Construction department.

Description

  • Lead all field operations for assigned new construction projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
  • Manage subcontractors, field staff, and other site personnel to ensure project quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to resolve design and field issues.
  • Oversee and ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Proactively identify risks and develop solutions to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure work meets design specifications and project plans.
  • Enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams regarding project progress.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff members to promote their development.
  • Keep detailed records of site activity, daily reports, schedules, and documentation.

Profile

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in construction management, with at least 5 years of experience in a Superintendent role managing large-scale new construction projects.
  • Proven Success: A strong track record of completing complex commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects on time and within budget.
  • Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, building codes, and processes.
  • Leadership: Ability to effectively manage teams, drive productivity, and maintain high standards.
  • Technology Proficiency: Experience with construction management tools like Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety certifications are a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
