CutisCare provides management services to wound care and hyperbaric medicine service lines in hospitals across the country. As a Hyperbaric Technician, you will join a team of compassionate wound care specialists who are dedicated to positively impacting patients' quality of life throughout their healing journey.

On-the-job training is provided. The responsibilities of a Hyperbaric Technician include:

Safe Operation of Hyperbaric Equipment

The safe and efficient operation of the hyperbaric chamber and related support systems, as well as the safe delivery of hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients undergoing treatment.

Patient Observation and Care

Acting as a hyperbaric observer during treatments inside a pressurized hyperbaric chamber, ensuring that the observer remains alert and attentive to patients at all times.

Providing patient education and orientation about hyperbaric oxygen therapy, including its benefits and potential risks.

Medical Support

Checking patient vital signs and updating patient charts accordingly.

Assisting in the start-up and shut-down of the facility, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.

Completing routine equipment maintenance on time to prevent any disruptions in service.

Requirements

• Current license or certification in one of the following areas:
• Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT)
• Certified Hyperbaric Specialist (CHS)
• Certified Hyperbaric Wound Specialist (CHWS)
• Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRT)
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic
• Military Corpsman or Medical Services Specialist
