About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
Setting: Outpatient Primary Care
Responsibilities:
The Nurse Manager, Outpatient Primary Care (RN) will:
- Uphold nursing standards defined by the American Nurses' Association, including ethical codes and practice guidelines.
- Engage in performance improvement and research activities to enhance clinical practice and outcomes.
- Coordinate inventory management, budgeting, and performance improvement efforts to optimize patient care operations.
- Demonstrate leadership and clinical expertise while supervising nursing staff and overseeing patient care.
- Develop and maintains the competence of nursing associates through training and professional development.
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 5+ years of Nursing experience
- 3+ years experience in a Leadership and/or Supervisory Outpatient Ambulatory role
- BLS certification
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Desired Skills:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Experience and/or interest in a community-based setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
