Sr. Associate, Financial Analysis - Commercial Bank FinanceThe Commercial Bank Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Banking FP&A Team. This role offers a dynamic and complex opportunity as we work to help our business partners navigate its diverse client base, specialized financial products, and the constantly evolving banking landscape due to regulatory, market and economic impacts. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for financial forecasting, reporting & analytics, and building strong relationships with the business partners you support, helping equip leadership with financial insights, directly influencing strategy and driving business outcomes.The role requires strong communication, problem solving, strategic thinking, and influencing skills in order to effectively:Conduct analysis and articulate outcomes and relevant insightsDevelop presentations to business leaders to communicate insights and to influence both business and financial outcomesFoster trusted business partnershipsResponsibilities:Financial reporting and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and Profit & Loss (P&L) managementCalculate the financial impacts of strategic decisions from business partnersBusiness presentations: Assist in development of presentations to communicate analysis results to senior audiences, clearly articulate outcomes of analysis to leadership teamsAd-hoc requests and special projectsIndependently manage and prioritize workloadPerform financial data analysis in preparing Profit & Loss or other statementsFrequently create reports for higher level associatesProvide management and business clients with project statusesPerform reporting and analysis to support presentation and ad-hoc requestsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 2 years' experience in financial analysisAt least 2 years' experience with financial modelingPreferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) Accounting, Finance, or EconomicsChartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or a combination3+ years experience in financial analysis3+ years experience with financial modeling2+ years of experience partnering with internal stakeholders2+ years of experience using SQLAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900 for Sr. Financial AnalystRichmond, VA: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Financial AnalystCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
