Leadership Information

  • Service Line Bariatrics Medical Director is needed to create strategy and goals and coordinate the growth of an Intermountain-specific bariatrics program for Intermountain Healths Canyons Region.
  • The Bariatrics Medical Director will work with physician and operations service line leaders to wholistically approach weight loss and craft a strategy for comprehensive care.
  • The Bariatrics Medical Director will coordinate with the system to help grow destination medicine, regional referrals, surgical access, policy, etc.
  • Medical Director role is .2 FTE. The clinical component is .8 FTE.

Practice Information

  • One BC/BE Bariatric Surgeon is needed to create Bariatrics program at Intermountain Health
  • Office space is located on the campus of LDS Hospital

Requirements

  • Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Bariatric Surgery
  • Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
  • U.S. ACGME Residency
