Logistics AnalystTrigo Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for a Logistics Analyst in Decatur, IL. Pay is $25hr and is 1st shift.The Logistics Analyst acts as a daily liaison between suppliers and end customers. The Logistics Analyst also helps build and foster the relationship between the supplier, end customer, and Trigo HT while maintaining the highest performance standards at lowest achievable costs.Reports to Site Supervisor/Site LeadsResponsibilities (to include but not limited to the following):Retrieve and prepare suppliers' requirements for kitted and bulk shipmentsCreate appropriate shipping labels for outbound shipmentsCreate daily inspection worksheetsPrepare daily dock audits for verification of inbound and outbound shipmentsPrepare and send Advance Ship Notices (ASN) and/or invoices to end customerEnter received shipments into WITS (Web Inventory Tracking System)Conduct and reconcile cycle countsConduct and reconcile yearly physical inventoryComplete manual invoices for price discrepancies, as requiredResearch, identify, and locate inventory discrepancyScan documents electronically and send to supplier and end customerPrepare shipping documents and bills-of-ladingTrack and expedite supplier shipments when requiredMonitor supplier inventory levels and ensure no shortages existMonitor supplier delivery performance indicatorsSegregate and dispose of defective materialsOther duties and/or responsibilities as assignedOrganization & ManagementThis position does not include supervisory responsibilitiesTechnicalDemonstrated understanding of warehousing methods and shipping proceduresOperating-level proficiency using computerized inventory control systemsOperating-level proficiency using Microsoft Office EXCELProven record of job diligence and attendanceOtherAny other duties as assignedKnowledge, skills, abilitiesHard skills Proven record of job diligence and attendance Demonstrated ability in written and verbal communication Demonstrated interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail Managerial or Supervisory experience preferredValues & attitudes Global team spirit Team player Caring for people Open-minded Excellence Reactive Resilient to pressure Rigorous Customer focus Client oriented Reliable & trustworthy Flexible Initiative Autonomous Innovative DaringWork experienceFreight-forwarding work experience preferred Warehousing and logistics operations work experience preferredEducation backgroundHigh school diploma or GED required
