Jackson Public-Need Sub CustodianCustodian position. We are hiring substitute custodians in Jackson, MS. Now it's your turn Substitutes are essential in ensuring students continue to learn and grow every day in a safe and clean environment. Substitute custodians may also be referred to as custodial workers or maintenance workers.Working in a school district is rewarding. We would love for you to join our team.Jackson Public qualifications:Minimum requirements: at least 18 years oldAbility to understand and carry out instructionsWilling to learn and accept responsibilityPrevious experience preferredPass drug screening test as outlined by districtHeavy lifting 50-75 lbs.Essential Functions:Remove litter and wastepaper from classroom, offices and grounds; and deposits in provided in receptaclesMaintain carpet and other floor surfacesClean windows, light fixtures, venetian blinds, walks, storage rooms, unity rooms and restroomsPerforms minor maintenance repairs to building and equipmentReport any needed repairs and malfunctions to maintenance for correctionPerform other related duties as requested or assignedAttend any professional development activities as neededPerks you'll enjoy with Kelly Education:Ability to build a flexible work schedule that works for youAbility to select your preferred school locationsWeekly payKelly-sponsored Affordable Care Act healthcare coverage, for eligible employeesGroup insurance options**Offered and administered by 3rd party.
